Important Notice Regarding Older Oil-Fired Boilers; We would like to inform our customers that some older oil-fired boilers are now considered obsolete. Due to the age of these appliances and the discontinuation of key components, replacement parts may no longer be available. This can make ongoing maintenance and repair difficult or uneconomical. In addition, older boilers may not meet current efficiency standards or modern safety expectations when compared with newer systems. For safety, all oil-fired appliances should be regularly inspected and serviced by a qualified engineer. If a boiler is found to be unsafe, it must not be used until appropriate remedial work or replacement has been carried out. We recommend that any older oil-fired boiler is assessed by a suitably qualified engineer (such as an OFTEC-registered technician) to determine whether it remains safe and suitable for continued use. If you would like advice on upgrading or replacing your heating system, please contact us for further information.
