Designed for outdoor or indoor installation the RA heat pump incorporates a Titanium heat exchanger and branded compressor, galvanised steel housing as standard. 9, 15, 23 & 30 kW sizes are available.
The RA model consists of the same integral parts as CA model but has the appearance of a traditional air conditioning unit. The circulation fan is mounted on the side , therefore extracting and exhausting the air from the sides. By purchasing a 'through-wall' indoor ducting kit enables this heater to be installed in an indoor environment.
Installing the RA indoors has the added benefit of:-
- Minimal noise output - as the circulating fan is housed indoors it is ideal for situations where noise issues maybe a problem e.g. adjoining neighbours or close proximity to house or bathing area.
- Extra heat can be extracted from inside the housing i.e. shed, green house, garage etc and transferred to the pool water
- Heater is unseen
- No corrosion issues
- No need to cover in winter as debris cannot enter heat pump
A perfect all-rounder, the option of indoor or outdoor installation is a real benefit. The 9kW is an ideal size for the smaller pool installation and reasonably priced! The RA model incorporates a plastic circulation fan and is naturally quieter than the CA model.
